The practice offers a limited number of early and late appointments during extended working hours for patients who are unable to attend during normal work hours due to work commitments.

TRAINING PRACTICE

We are a training practice and welcome a new GP Registrar every six months. The registrar is a qualified doctor continuing to train with a view to becoming a family GP.

As part of his/her training package some video consultation sessions take place. Patients are informed prior to seeing the GP and asked to sign a Consent form - before and after the consultation. The video footage is seen by one of the practice GPs (who is responsible for its confidentiality) and the registrar to assist in one-to-one consultation skills.

Patients have the right to refuse to take part in a video consultation.

THE PRACTICE NURSING TEAM

The practice employs a team of well-trained and highly skilled nursing staff together with clinical support workers. They work alongside a team of district nurses and health visitors who are employed by the Leeds Primary Care Trust and midwives who are employed by the United Leeds Teaching Hospitals Trust.
