OBTAIN REPEAT
PRESCRIPTIONS?
Please allow two working days for
routine repeat medication requests.
If you add any item(s) to your repeat request, or there have been any changes
by a hospital consultant, we will need to check with the doctor before these can
be issued. Please allow more time to process these requests.
You can bring your request to the surgery or post it (please enclose stamped, addressed
envelope if you wish your prescription to be posted back to you allow more time
for the postal service). You can also order online (details available from reception).
Please do NOT fax your request as these have often proved difficult
to read.
Please do NOT telephone your request either. This is for security
reasons and to ensure accuracy. Mistakes can have serious consequences.

for details of individual arrangements. Please be aware that we cannot guarantee
to have your prescription ready at a specific time.

Certain medical conditions entitle patients to free prescriptions - your GP will inform you if you meet this criterion.
You can purchase a prescription charge 'season ticket' from the prescription pricing authority; please ask for a form at the pharmacy.
