Please be aware that we will be closed for staff training one Thursday afternoon every month. During this time the Out Of Hours Service will cover the surgery if you require urgent medical assistance.
- The practice building shall be completely closed on the following Thursday afternoon from 12noon-6.30pm. Reception re-opens 6.30pm-8pm on a Thursday, but this is for routine care only – patients that have pre-booked routine appointments or are coming to collect a prescription or book an appointment for the following day.
- Whilst closed for training (12-6.30pm), patients with urgent medical needs should call 111 for a GP, or 999 if a life threatening emergency. From 6.30pm-8pm, please call the Morley Hub (0113 252 5223) who may have some same day appointments for urgent medical problems.
Training Practice
The practice is committed to the further training of health professionals. These include occasional placements from medical students, nurses and GP trainees. Staff receiving training are fully supervised but if you prefer not to receive care from someone in training please say and we will honour your preference. Please note that the practice does not accept anyone on work experience, due to data protection concerns.
