Smoking Cessation
The practice nurses offer advice to patients who wish to give up smoking.

Alcohol Advisor
Dee Richardson consults at the practice every Tuesday and provides advice, counselling and support for patients on their alcohol consumption. He will also speak to relatives and friends who need support and advice. The service is provided by the Primary Healthcare Alcohol Service (ADS). Patients can either speak to their GP or book an appointment direct via the practice receptionist.
Counselling
The practice offers a comprehensive independent counselling service for patients.
Patients can either attend the surgery or a venue offered by the counselling service.
Both male and female counsellors are available. This service requires a referral
by one of the doctors.
Physiotherapy
NHS physiotherapy is by GP referral. Clinics are held throughout Leeds.
Cryotherapy
The practice offers cryotherapy clinic to deal with skin adhesions.

You do not need to make an appointment.
Some limited evening appointments are available; please contact the surgery.
Seasonal flu vaccinations are currently offered free of charge to
the following at-risk groups:
- people aged 65 or over
- all pregnant
women
- people with a serious medical condition
such as chronic (long-term) respiratory disease, such as severe asthma, chronic
obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or bronchitis;
chronic heart disease, such as heart failure;
chronic kidney disease at stage 3, 4 or 5;
chronic liver disease;
chronic neurological disease, such as Parkinson's disease or motor neurone disease;
diabetes; or
a weakened immune system due to disease (such as HIV/AIDS) or treatment (such
as cancer treatment).
- people living in long-stay residential
care homes or other long-stay care facilities where rapid spread is likely to
follow introduction of infection and cause high morbidity and mortality.
- people
who are in receipt of a carer’s allowance, or those who are the
main carer of an older or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the
carer falls ill.
FAMILY
PLANNING SERVICES
The practice offers a family planning service, including emergency contraception and coil fitting. There are alternative Family Planning Clinics. Please ask for details.
A childhood immunisation service
is provided by the practice - this service is by appointment. If you need to seek advice, please contact the health visiting team or the practice nurse.
The practice nurses offer dedicated
clinics during the working week.
You will receive an invitation to make an appointment subject to Department of
Health recommended recall/follow-up guidelines.
The practice nurse team offer travel
advice and an immunisation programme as recommended by the World Health Organisation.

minor burns and cuts. There is an x-ray
unit on site.
